DECEMBER 1st to April 15th, 2027: SummerHouse's winter, daily bookings online are limited to Main House Upper Suite (2 bedroom suite) and our Cottage I (dog-friendly).
All Cottages reopen on April 15th, 2027.
Advance On-line Bookings for Summer 2027 start on January 15th with a 3 day minimum requirement, to allow our longer term guests a chance to reserve Summer weekends in advance. A weekly rate discount is also available.
After April 15th, our minimum stay requirements change to a 2- day minimum. Online booking is easy!

Single day-stays during summer season: Weekend single-day stays are not available until Thursday before the weekend. Please contact Bill directly @732 245 7523 for single day & other custom booking options.
SummerHouse is a private oasis of 10 cottages blending modern comfort & style with vintage design details. No car needed! From NYC/Wall Street, use Seastreak Ferry for a 40 minute luxurious ferry ride to Highlands. Our private compound has grilling areas, firepit, and bike & surfboard storage. Walk or bike to an amazing variety of natural bay and ocean beaches and mountain and bayside trails. Great dining and nightlife is a few steps from our courtyard setting. Our Main House Common Area offers fresh locally roasted coffee beans, a grinder, milk foamer, teas, dairy, and french press or coffeemaker. Every room has a french press and instant kettle.
ALL cottages have modern, open showers in each bathroom, a kitchenette, shaded porches, AC/Wifi/SmartTV, comfy new beds and fresh linens and big beach towels.
-Cottages A through E offer an additional, private outdoor hot & cold shower;
-Cottage F, G and H offer an additional twin bed/day bed.
-Cottages I & J are dog friendly (no barkers, please), each with a private, pet-relief area so you can enjoy the beach while your pup enjoys a shaded area to hang out at your cottage.
-Main House Upper Floor Suite is a 2 bedroom 1 bath private space- the entire upper floor is yours.

Terms
Two guests per unit.
Your non-refundable payment reserves your cottage. If you cancel a reservation, we will try to rebook the room. If we successfully rebook the room, we may, at our discretion, refund your payment minus a processing fee of up to 25%.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on or near the property. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation (with full refund) or switch cottage choice.
Rates vary and we may have a minimum stay during peak season or on weekends. We offer discounts for longer stays. Ask about other group rates and event options. Friday is a 'weekend' day.
Keyless access to each Cottage with a 4 digit entry code- please text us a day prior to arrival for your code. We use online booking except for custom reservations, call or text Bill directly @732 245 7523. Please arrive after 3pm, depart by 11am, and if you need early or late we try to accommodate!
